As the Christmas decorations go up inside, the winter plants get switched out for the fall plants outside. This is an experiment this year. We will see how many survive our Wisconsin winter.
I thought the silver plants would look good sparkling with snow.
So, does your snow stay on the ground until mid-February, like ours? We got snowflakes last night, but not enough to label "snow." It looks like you don't have any either. You'll have to show us a picture of your plants when they have snow on them.
Every year, I have to haul in all my plants from the yard and the screen porch, so they won't die when the freeze hits. Some come down here to my classroom, and my livingroom is a veritable Winter Jungle! Good luck with yours!!
BTW, I'm a finalist for a Pretty Neat Blog Award. Sure would appreciate your vote! Please come by to see me to get the details. Thanks!!
The Wisconsin Winter can be hard on plants, but my SIL once grew Texas Bluebonnets down in Richland Center...and they came back year after year! Thanks so much for the Shout Out! Hey, please come by my place if you have time today to see how to Pay It Forward during this Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
I do wish you luck, but you're great with plants, so they're in good hands. My parents gave me a pointsettia and a Christmas Cactus that I just hope will see the new year...
