Friday Foto Fun with an Entrepreneur

Its time for Carrie's Friday Foto Fun:-) This is my youngest daughter and her first try with entrepreneurship:

She decided (on her own) that she was going to sell leaves. That's right...leaves...for 6 cents a piece. That is an old stump in our front yard which is functioning as her store front. The sign is her price menu. And the name of her business was "Leaf Sell". She did get some traffic to her "brick and mortar":


And Mommy and Daddy bought one too:-)

About an hour after she set up shop, I asked how business was doing. She said,

"Great. I've never felt so alive".

Keep in mind, she's five!!! Forbes List, here she comes.

    Oh my gosh. Hilarious. 5 minutes into my kids cherry stand last year and they were ready to pack it in........I love that she felt so alive an HOUR into her sale.

    IF people will buy fake leaves at Michael's and Joann's why not real leaves from your front yard? Smart cookie you've got there. I predict she may be on The Apprentice some day. ;)

    How fun!! I use to do the same thing when I was a kid. I would go to my neighbors and pick their pecans from their trees and then sell them to them. ha ha!

    I LOVE that. She's never felt so alive?! You need to hang that quote up on her wall with a picture of her selling her leaves.
