Wordless Wednesday

Who is this little guy and why is he here? He is the University of Wisconsin: Madison's own Bucky Badger. He is here to tell you that I attended my first collegiate event! My oldest daughter plays clarinet for the Pep Band and they played at the Milwaukee Admirals hockey game this weekend!
It was so much fun! They played before and during the game and really get the crowd going. At the end of the game, they came out on the ice and were playing and dancing around. It was the first time I got to see how much fun she is having in college. I couldn't be more happy for her and I am a proud mama:-)

College was so much better for me than high school. I really miss going to the football and basketball games. But, starting in the fall I'll be able to cheer on my baby brother at whichever college he finally settles on. Such fun!

WOW! College band-that is something to be proud of--especially at a giant school like Madison! That is so cool!
What instrument does she play?

Ooo college days. We never had the same sporting ties but I'm beginning to get the big picture of how things function out here. Just as well as it's probably only another 6 years until the first one disappears to that particular course.
Best wishes

Neat! It is so great to be involved in your children's lives...even when they are almost grown up. :-)

The company my husband works for is based out of Wisconsin, so I am quite familiar with that Badger:)

Thanks for stopping by with a comment.

I have never been to Wisconsin but my mom's friend lives there and she sent me a University of Wisconsin shirt when I was 9 or 10. I wore that shirt until it fell apart. The Badgers hold a special place in my heart.
