My indoor garden was getting a little out of hand:
What a mess!!
So, I did some housekeeping and this is what it looks like now:
AND...just in time for holiday cooking...the triumphant return of my herb garden:
I used my Thyme in a recipe earlier in the week:-)

We have just (on Saturday) planted our summer herb garden (lots of basil) and tidied up and replanted some others. Already used some on potatoes last night. What a joy fresh herbs are.
looks great!!! can't wait to see what youre cooking up this holiday season!!!
Do you have any hints for growing herbs indoors? We want to plant some in the new year but both Hubby and I (mostly me) are afflicted with black thumbs.
It looks wonderful....
I am totally impressed by your indoor garden. Hmm. Ideas.
My goodness..does that ever look nice. I sure wish I had an herb garden.
Oh, I would love my own herb garden!!!! Are they easy to maintain?
wonderful indoor garden! I should start an herb garden :-)
Wow, now this is cool. I always seem to be too late to garden outside, but maybe indoor I could handle. At least some of that fresh lettuce I see.
I'm so impressed with your gardening! I mostly just kill plants. :(
You probably get the most wonderful flavor from your cooking because of the freshness! I love this!
Wow, what a thriving indoor garden you have!
Wow, you've got a green thumb. I can't keep a cactus alive. Oh well, we all have our gifts!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
You have a beautiful garden! I've been considering an indoor herb garden, because so many recipes call for fresh herbs. But I don't really know how much time it takes. With a 2yo, 1yo, another on the way (and 2 dogs) in a rowhome in the inner city, sometimes I feel like I have my hands full! But I would love to see a 'how-to' post on indoor herb gardening!
Yours looks great!
