Apparently, the oilless turkey fryer uses infrared technology to cook without oil?? Now, it still uses propane so, you aren't saving fuel but, I can see where this would save TONS of fat!
Why not just use an oven?? Well, the claim is that you can cook a 12 lb. turkey in an hour and fifty minutes without preheating?? So, you save time and oven space on a busy holiday afternoon? Sign me up:-)
Has anyone had experience with this oilless turkey fryer??? I would love to hear about it.

Never. But I'll be it would cut down on house fires. My BIL is frying up a turkey this Thanksgiving. His family makes him go way off in a far corner of the yard...afraid of accidents, you know!
That sounds interesting! Wow...half the time to cook in the oven!
I've never had a fried turkey although they were all the rage when we lived in the States. I just can't imagine that they taste better than one done in the oven. *shrug* Plus the fires that Melissa B mentioned scare me.
I haven't heard of it! I say your title and it sparked my interest. Hmm....saving fat indeed! Sign me up for one as well.
Interesting. First time I have heard anything about it.
That is such a cool idea. I'd be interested in knowing as well!
