Candyland Cupcakes

I tackled another Iron Cupcake: Milwaukee Challenge and this time, the theme/ingredient was Candy. Since I have a young daughter at home, I immediately thought of Candyland. Here is what it looked like:

Candyland Cupcakes
They were Funfetti cupcakes with peppermint frosting and sugar cookie playing pieces. I did six of the characters in full size cupcakes:

Plumpy
Mr. Mint

Grandma Nut
Princess Lolly
Queen Frosting
King Candy

Very cool! I bet your kids loved eating each and every one of those cupcakes. Yaya would have.

Do you have any good ideas for a Scooby Do cake? I think that's what Yaya wants for her birthday. I thought something based around Shaggy, Scooby and a Scooby snack would be fun. Either on cupcakes for each child or one giant cake.
