Friday's Foto Fun with Music

It's time for Carrie's Friday Foto Fun:-)

My first baby's last show is this weekend. She started when she was 9 and now she is 18 and hanging up her clarinet. A 9-year band career is coming to an end and we were there to see it last night:-) We are so proud of her!

That is amazing she did that for so long. Will there be tears? I know I would give some tears.

Bittersweet huh? That is great that you were there for it. Maybe she will pick it up again - 9 years is a long time to leave for good. :)

Wow! 9 years. That is dedication. I don't think you have seen the last of her clarinet!

Awww! That's bittersweet. My son just started playing the trombone (he's 12) and I hope he continues through high school.

Congrats to your daughter on a great nine years of making music! I'm glad you could be there for her.

We went thru this, too. In fact, I've still got the clarinet stored in the back of the closet. A bittersweet time, for sure! And PS: Please pop over to participate in Sx3 today. We're in serious Donald Trump Mode!

Oh I hope she continues playing on her own for her own enjoyment. I so regret not keeping up my music.
