First Grade Autobiography

This weekend, the whole family enjoyed my youngest's performance in her classroom play. My little singing butterfly. I am calling this a tackle because a lot preparation went into the event for her and for us.

At the end of the play, she read us the autobiography that she had been working on for months. Here her grandparents and older sister are listening intently:

Playing along with Tackle It Tuesday with 5 Minutes for Mom .

I remember performing in a dental hygiene play in Kindergarten or first grade. Those are really precious moments for mothers. Congrats to your daughter. :)

Gotta love these special moments of achievement. I know you all are so proud of her. Give her a big hug from me too!

The autobiography must've been so much fun to listen to! Whenever my first grader writes about her life, it's hilarious. I've kept all of it so we can look back on it in years to come.
