Setting Up a Playset

After I was done being sick, we tackled this playset:

It's pretty fun with a slide:

and swings:
and a teeter-totter:

and a really cool ladder:

Oh, and did I mention that my husband rolled that tower all the way from the front yard? We got it second-hand from his sister so, we didn't completely disassembled for fear we would not be able to put it back together. He is such a big strong man!
That's part of what we tackled while I was away. More to come next week:-)

Yikes! that was a big job!
That yard is so green and beautiful!
Susie I think you have the most beautiful of souls. It is always such a pleasure to see your name attached to comments. You often give me a smile.
I may just go do a tackle post now.

This is so great! Ironically we are finally getting rid of ours. Our kids are too old. Kind of sad.

Wow! That is quite a feat moving that!

The house we purchased has a playset similar to that one (on a smaller scale), and they offered to "sell" it to us (for a ridiculous price), and we said "no, take it with you." Turns out, it was too much hassle for them to move, so they left it :)

Ya know, even in my old age I still enjoy the swing and the slide. Fortunately, the elementary school is right up the street, so I can get my fix any time!

You are very wise to have been wary about dissassembling that beast. Trust me when I say they are HARD to re-assemble... just trust me...
